Shannon Marcus Nash is a producer, author, screenwriter, and Coast Guard Veteran based in Chicago, IL.

A native of the northern suburb of Gurnee, IL, Shannon is a proud Chicagoan whose creative background began writing short stories in fifth grade.

Shannon is the author of the science fiction novel “Emancipation: First Entry of the Janus Record.” Additionally, he has produced several short film projects and directed his own short film, Planestrider.

Currently, Shannon is a Senior at Flashpoint Chicago, a campus of Columbia College Hollywood pursuing his bachelor’s in fine arts. He completed an internship with the Illinois Film Office. His current projects include several non-fiction productions and developing a series pilot.

 

Shannon lives and creates in Chicago and the Chicagoland area. He is an avid fan of Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, and Animation.
